Over the past two decades, I have helped countless individuals, over 38000 to be exact and professional athletes overcome back and musculoskeletal issues through targeted training. I developed a unique method—Core Muscle Balance Training—that addresses the root cause of these issues rather than merely treating the symptoms.

I am available to help anyone worldwide, as core muscle imbalances can be effectively corrected through online training.

I’ve worked with NHL (Alexander Barkov, Sandis Ozolinsh, Joakim Kemell, Emil Larmi, Teemu Pulkkinen, Jamie Lundmark etc.), KHL, Finnish Liiga, among others.

TIME TO BALANCE YOU AND YOUR LIFE

FIX THE CAUSE, NOT THE SYMPTOMS

Lie on your back with your legs extended. Elevate both legs a few inches off the ground to engage your core. Hold a 20 lb barbell, placing an additional 10 lb weight on one side of the bar. Begin with the weighted side on your right and perform a bench press. Next, switch the weighted side to your left and perform another press.

If you are right-handed, you may notice a distinct increase in difficulty and a tendency for your hip to rotate when the weight is on the left, activating the right side of your core. This response highlights an imbalance in core strength, a common cause of lower back and musculoskeletal issues. Addressing this imbalance is essential for achieving lasting improvements in core stability and musculoskeletal health.

DOES YOUR BACK LOOK LIKE THIS?

This is normal case of core muscle imbalance. Right hand side Quadratus Lumborum and back muscles are extremely weak. Left hand side is very strong. She had 2 ruptured discs to the weak side.

Are You Told Any of the Following?

  • One leg appears shorter than the other

  • Minor scoliosis or uneven spinal alignment

  • Noticeably tense or cramped muscles on one side of your back

  • Restricted hip joint rotation

  • Difficulty standing upright

  • Uneven shoulders, with one lower than the other

If you struggle with persistent back pain or musculoskeletal issues that keep coming back despite various treatments, you're not alone. These symptoms often point to a deeper problem—one that needs addressing at the root, not just the surface level.

The Underlying Cause: Core Muscle Imbalance Leading to Hip Misalignment

Muscle imbalances, particularly within the core, can cause hip misalignment. This imbalance often originates from habitual patterns of movement. For example, many right-handed individuals unknowingly rotate toward the left and rely on their left leg for support in activities such as throwing a ball, lifting objects, vacuuming, or playing sports. This constant asymmetry over time strengthens the left side and weakens the right side of the core.

The result? A stronger left core muscle group pulls the hip upward, causing the right side to rotate forward. This rotation compresses the lower vertebrae, particularly L4-L5, unevenly, which can eventually lead to disc bulges or ruptures. Over time, hip joints wear down, the spine takes on an S-shape, and one shoulder may drop, causing overall misalignment.

Balance and alignment are essential for a pain-free and fully functional body. Addressing core muscle imbalance is the key to achieving this balance—and you can correct it from home.

ANNI’S STORY

Anni has had back problems since she was at least 18 years old. The cause was never found - my back just suddenly hurt. Many professionals tried to take care of my back, but help was finally found at a health fair.

31.12.2020 09.44 Text: Nina Sarell, Kotilääkäri magazine

"I have been to a doctor, a physiotherapist, a neurosurgeon, a physiatrist and an orthopedist because of my back. When I was 22, I had back surgery for a bulging disc from which nerve pain radiated to my left leg. After that, I was symptom-free for only ten months.

I was working in primary care, when during one patient transfer my back jerked, and the pain returned. A total of thirteen different painkillers were tried on me."

"The nerve pain was relieved"

"In Midsummer of 2016, a pain stimulator was installed in the epidural space of my spine, which blocked the sensation of pain with electricity . I was able to live a fairly normal life with it. The plan was that I would live with the stimulator for the next ten years and reduce the medication a bit.

The following year, at the wellness fair, I came across a Selkäfix point, where a free "back check" was performed. I waited in line out of interest. When it was my turn, it was determined that my pelvis was tilted. Sometimes I myself had told the doctors that I felt my body was crooked, but they didn't pay much attention to it. It was special that someone saw it right away. I thought these were just blacksmiths.

I went to the table, and the lower back and buttock area was treated. When I got up it felt like I had new hips. The nerve pain was relieved.

I made an appointment for the Selkäfix reception . At first I went to training every couple of days and then weekly. After two weeks, I turned the pain stimulator off. After six months, I discontinued the opioid medication I had been using for a long time."

Muscle balance better taken into account in the treatment of back patients

"When you have suffered from chronic nerve pain for a long time, the biggest thing is being able to turn your head painlessly. For a long time I was afraid that the pain would return. Did I just imagine I was pain free?

I've pretty much gotten rid of the medication now, and I'm able to work normally. If I feel that the symptoms are starting to return, I will go to treatment.

Training the core muscle balance muscles has brought extremelygood results.

I've been playing floorball for 20 years, and I've never had to stop moving because of my back, but it hasn't been fixed by exercise alone, while the help I've received from correcting the curvature has been absolutely amazing.

I am a health professional myself, but I would never have imagined that it could depend on such a small thing as muscle balance. Should we pay more attention to it in the treatment of back patients than at present?"
