What’s The Secret?

Muscle imbalances, particularly within the core, can cause hip misalignment. This imbalance often originates from habitual patterns of movement. For example, many right-handed individuals unknowingly rotate toward the left and rely on their left leg for support in activities such as throwing a ball, lifting objects, vacuuming, or playing sports. This constant asymmetry over time strengthens the left side and weakens the right side of the core.

The result? A stronger left core muscle group pulls the hip upward, causing the right side to rotate forward. This rotation compresses the lower vertebrae, particularly L4-L5, unevenly, which can eventually lead to disc bulges or ruptures. Over time, hip joints wear down, the spine takes on an S-shape, and one shoulder may drop, causing overall misalignment.
